When you contact us, you agree to give accurate information. You confirm that any phone number or email address you provide is yours, or that you have permission to provide it. You authorize us to use that information to respond to you and, where you have opted in, to contact you by text message as described below.

We offer two separate, optional text message programs. Each has its own checkbox on our contact form, unchecked by default. Agreeing to one does not sign you up for the other. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of applying for a rental, signing a lease, receiving maintenance, or purchasing any service.
1. Account & service messages.
If you check the account and service box and provide your mobile number, you agree to receive texts from Legacy Pines about your inquiry, rental application, showings, lease, rent and payment reminders, maintenance requests, and owner account notices. These messages are informational, not marketing. Message frequency varies based on your account activity.
2. Marketing messages.
If you check the marketing box and provide your mobile number, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing texts from Legacy Pines, including new rental listings, owner service offers, newsletters, and community event invitations. Message frequency varies.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are set by your mobile carrier.
Opting out. Text STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from a program. We will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages from that program unless you opt in again. You can also opt out by contacting us using the details below.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
Privacy. Your mobile number and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent records are shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages, or when required by law.

Text messages and Site forms are not monitored around the clock. For a maintenance emergency, call 888-318-1197. For a life-safety emergency, call 911.

All content on the Site — including text, photos, logos, and graphics — belongs to Legacy Pines or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission.

The Site links to outside services, such as our payment portal and listing platforms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Rental listings, pricing, and availability may change without notice. We do not guarantee the Site will always be available or error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Legacy Pines and its members, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our messages.

You agree to hold Legacy Pines and its members, employees, and agents harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any dispute about these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina.

We may update these Terms from time to time and will change the effective date above when we do. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
